Held at Birch Crest the first Saturday in August, the Regatta Committee requires at least 3 volunteers to help:
Organize volunteers to help run the Regatta events
Set-up and tear down day of the Regatta
Lake Capacity Assessment
Meet with Environmental Scientist, confirm assessment
Determine possible properties that could be split
Evaluate impact on the lake and surrounding properties
Crown Land Development
Create a plan to stop any development on Crown Land on Horn Lake.
Understand the Public Lands Act
Build best and worst case scenarios
Secure a commitment from municipal governments that no crown land will be sold for development.
